This week Sarah addressed the Unite/Amicus Southern Defence Workers meeting at which she praised their support for the Save the Naval Base Campaign. Sarah said 'The success of the campaign depended on us demonstrating that Portsmouth was an efficient, cost effective support service for the Royal Navy.

We would not have been able to do that without the hard work of the men and women that actually deliver that support on the ground. Unite/Amicus were crucial in the campaign and I salute them for that.
