On Saturday Sarah visited Paulsgrove Healthy Living Centre where
local children and their parents are making a mosaic to be
displayed on the wall outside the centre. Dot to Dot the local
community arts organisation brought residents together and
they all came up with ideas of the images to go on the mosaic
- like cleaning teeth, the importance of a healthy diet including
fruit and vegetables and keeping fit with lots of exercise.
Sarah said "The final design is so colourful and I really
enjoyed helping to glue the tiny pieces into place - the children
were much better at it than me of course, their fingers are smaller
and they didn't keep dropping the tiles like I did. I'm really
looking forward to seeing the mosiac in place and I'm glad to have
been able to be a part of it."
